Dermovate-NN^(®) Clinical Trial for Common Skin Diseases

Abstract
|
|
|
The recent advent of Dermovate-NN®, composed with clobetasol propionate (0.05%) neomycin (0.5%) and nystatin (100, 000 U/gm) has provided the clinicians with more therapeutic power.
This study was conducted to assess the efficacy of this remedy in the several common dermatoses, including psoriasis, neurodermatitis, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, impetigo and candidiasis.
The results were as follows :
1. of total 70 patients, 69(98.6%) showed clinical effectiveness and among the effective responders, 64 (91.4%), were cured.
2. Among the cured responders, 57(81.4%) were within 1 week and 7(10%) within 2 weeks.
3. One of the patients with psoriasis had shown a little improvement.
4. None of them, during the clinical trial, was revealed aggravation of symptoms, nor side reactions but burning sensation in few patients.
